Coverzone have now developed a side protection buffer system that they can install in your new cover prior to despatch. This clever option permanently fixes a strip of high impact buffer pads along the side of the car in the door and side panel area where they are most vulnerable to door dings and scuffs.

The buffer pads are permanently fitted to the cover with double stitching and whilst they do not absolutely guarantee that your car will remain in pristine condition, they will provide much more protection in all those visible areas that are both costly and difficult to repair.
Once we receive the order for your new cover with side protection system we will take a stock cover and our skilled machinists will add the option to the inner lining on both sides. The cover will be a little bulkier when folded but the pads cleverly concertina closed when not in use so handling and storage of the cover is still a breeze.

Padded Side Protection

If your car is being stored in an area that still has activity going on around, with the potential for people to park a little too close or kids to walk past with their bikes potentially bashing the sides of your car as they get in and out on their own, we recommend using padded side protection. This option is a sewn in strip of soft pads that are positioned along the sides of the car at the most likely level that the car would receive damage from door dings or accidental scuffing.

The pads will be fitted to the underside of the cover and will therefore always be in the correct position once the cover is fitted. This option is available for both indoor & outdoor covers.

Windy Location Products

Sometimes parking next to your property or in a narrow driveway can be a little like being in a wind tunnel! Fear not! We have additional products to super-secure your cover! Find out more here.

An additional overbody strap set comprises of 3 straps that go over the car body and underneath as well. They fasten with a snap fastener similar to those used on rucksacks and can then be tensioned over the fitted car cover to prevent the wind from lifting the cover. They also provide extra security if you are away for a while & are supplied in a handy drawstring bag, all for the low, low price of £13.13 plus carriage!

Owners who live in very exposed locations such as coastal properties, hill tops and open countryside should consider a car cover net. These nets are fitted over your tailored car cover and have an adjustable bungee cord that can be tensioned once the net is fitted. This will prevent your car cover from lifting in the wind or ‘chattering’ on the paintwork for long periods of time.
